I do not recommend Eastern Refinishing because they wont honor their warranty or do a quality job. The specifics are below.
Eastern Refinishing refinished two tubs for me a year apart (2020 and 2021).
Nick, the guy who performed the work, had to return twice for each tub for issues like coarse finish, sagging paint, and peeling thats three visits per tub. Currently, one tub is peeling and the other has slight rust showing through after only one months use, which Tom Cavileer, who runs the operation, originally assured me wouldnt be a problem. Nick was a nice guy, and I was patient and forgiving with all the return visits, including not being able to use my tubs and cleaning the dust from his sanding off of everything including the walls. I had even given Eastern a good review and recommended them to neighbors.
An appointment was made for Nick to return and fix the peeling and rust spots for the fourth time. Nick didnt show, call, or answer my calls or texts. Tom didnt return calls either but when I did reach him, he said he hadnt heard from Nick either, and would get back to me, which he didnt. After more unanswered calls to Tom, when he did pick up three weeks later, he said Nick had quit without telling anyone.
Tom and I had a friendly conversation where he said he had to hire and train someone, which would take a month or so. Tom told me to check back in a couple of weeks and that the warranty would be honored. As of today, its been five additional weeks and Ive left NINE friendly and respectful voicemails but no answer and no return call from Tom.
I can only assume Eastern has reneged on their warranty and their claim to a good product. I realize now I should not have hired Eastern because although Nick was local, Eastern and Tom werent, making it easy for Eastern/Tom to not honor the warranty or be obligated to do a good job.

We had our shower refinished on 11/27/18 by Adam Fischer and I had to catch him before he left because he totally missed some areas in the shower. He did some of the areas and still missed a large area which I saw after he left.
I called him and left a voicemail which wasn't returned. I texted him and after a couple of texts, he responded and said he would come back the next time he was in the area. After several more calls and texts to him with no response, I called the company. The person that answered said he would send Adam back on 4/18/19.
He came and had a terrible attitude with my husband but my husband remained courteous to get the job finished. Adam seemed to be trying to frustrate my husband to have an excuse to leave. Adam went into my vanity and accused by husband of using bleach on the shower and said that was the reason for our issues. We knew not to use bleach in the shower from the instructions provided.
We use a product made by Clorox which do not have bleach in it. It is Tilex Daily Shower Cleaner. How dare he go in our vanity. That is equivalent to going into a person medicine cabinet.
Needless to say, the shower floor and a couple places on the shower wall are starting to peel again after one day of showering.
We have a two year warranty and it needs to be corrected. Adam must be a family member to the owner because I cannot understand how they continue to let someone like him work there with his lack of skills and lack of communication skills.
If he is the only person that they have that work in our area in Pennsylvania, I will ask for a partial refund. I do not want him back in my house.

Project: Resurface my bathtub.
My bathtub was peeling badly because the company that did it
(miracle method) apparently screwed up and it only lasted
about 6 months. They refused to come back and fix it saying I did it myself without even looking at it. I called Tom at
eastern refinishing and he understood my problem and said
they would take care of it.
Comments: I am very happy with their work. So glad this kind of work
is available rather than tearing out the tub and tile.
John Venuti was the manager and sure knew his stuff.
John was knowledgeable and very neat. Would rehire but don't have
anymore bathtubs to do. It did take them almost a month to get to me but the price was right and they came thru when I was in a bind.
RUDE, OUT OF LINE, UNPROFESSIONAL, OBNOXIOUS

Awful service
Unprofessional Owner, Peeling After 6 Months
Will not honor their warranty.
The glaze will peel off after about 6 months because it's just a thin layer of paint. It's a total waste of money and i should have done the tub lining instead.
The company will not honor their 5 year warranty and will state that it occurred due to your neglect. The long term care on the warranty was ridiculous; you might as well never take a bath or shower again. They gave me the run around and didn't have a technician in the area for over a year. They will not contact you back.
You have to contact them over and over again. When I sent them the first picture they stated that they would send some over to fix it once they hire a technician in the area. 3 months went by and no word. I contacted them and they still haven't hired anyone.
Finally they did and asked for me to send them some pictures again because they deleted the last email. They then informed that it was my fault that the tub was badly beaten after 8 months from the first time I had contacted them.

I agree they are the worst. I had work done on my tubs back in Oct2020 called to have them come back to do a re-repair as the enamel was coming off the tub again was told someone was going to come fix the issue as it has a 5 year warranty.
No one showed up and no one called the day of the appt.
They have since blocked me on facebook and wouldn't not respond to my text or numerous emails. They are a COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!!
